Hi, I'm back with a quite big map (anyone remembers the style?). I'd like some comments about the layout. What to improve and stuff, k?
I'll pick a name later ;)

*edit: sry forgot to mark the flag and playerspawns. + the nade and medikits

I would put some vegetation in the bottom of the lakes
that top crack could have some shadow
those underground islands are not flowy, there's a CORNER in the start of the lower routes
do you have the spawns yet? I would use that little cave to put a lot of spawns
if flags go there will be too hard to take it

hmmm you're right they ain't flowy =/ should i delete them? I'm such a mapper that thinks in a 3-routes-system. ;) .

Nice design, especially the polyisland at top of flag, but the most ugly player spawn. Death like spawns at bottom... I tried that once at map, it sucks. After spawning you go backwards, turn while flying or backflip, make that about 30 times in ten mins, you get bored to do that. To fix that:

My suggestion is to do vertical tunnel at left side of spawn place to main route. So basically player should only jump and fly to main route.

And yes the corners ain't flowy

Nice to see some older mappers getting back at world of mapping.

1. Possibility to solve the spawn problem: look at the pic.
2. Possibility: Simply put the playerspawns in the [depression] right next to the little cave

Sorry Suowarrior, but your suggestion isn't too good. The enemy's team simply gotta throw some nades into the tunnel and it's block+spawnkills for some important seconds. I think it would make a spawnkillfeast =/. Correct me if I'm wrong =)

Well that's partially true, but I wouldn't say its spawnkill, cos it's up to players do they want to risk their life for short way. Basically when there aren't enemies it could be very useful then. Also u could put a collider at edge of top part of that vertical tunnel to reduce the number of grenades in the hole.

But yah it's true it might not be the best spawn place, I usually recommend not to put spawns in the lowest area of map. It's pretty simple, going downwards is funner than going upwards.

I think both those are good spawns, it's that kinda map where it's hard to find very good spawn placements...

in that flag placement, there will be spray much much spray
if you'll keep that way, I would make a little hill to help players jumping

Anyway I overworked the base's layout.
And it's waypointed (but crappy)

why bravo don't have any nades on the base?
the cave cave near the flags could have  vest too
maybe you should lower the ceil? too much open space
