Goal is to make a bit like my favourite map ctf_Viet, cos there aren't made that kind of maps made in ages. Sketch got only one side and going to mirror the other side. But It won't be totally mirrored at the end, at least I hope so. I painted it pretty accurately so map should look like that at the end.
What you like spawns? I'm considering setting another spawn at same vertical level at other side of base. A bit like at Biggles's Einworb, with a lot bigger scale.
Got other suggestions?

I like the layout though the spawns seem to be very close to direct battle I dont know but I get that feeling

make the island to the middle-right higher or steaper, otherwise you'd be able to snipe from one side of the map too the other

Changed your sketch a bit, maybe this is a bit better.
I made the middle island a bit higher and made a second route for when you spawn, that island can also be used for camping with the flag

Looks nice Zombie, I could add another spawn at top of poly island also. Actually I don't like the gameplay situations where both teams got flags, so I usually try to make it hard for flagger. But yah I think I can use ur idea

Going downwards is funner and less problematic than going upwards.

Hm... can't seem to merge topics...
Anyways, just thought I'd point out that the Drawing Board, a pinned thread under Mapping Resources, would be a better place to put this. Get 'em all in one, huh?
I think you cut the map in half too soon. There should be more space continuing right before it begins to symmetrize (symmetrize?!) so that the small boulder can't be used as a sniping position too effectively. ctf_Viet can have very steep movement, too, and some back-of-inf_Equinox-like choke points, as seen in the middle path and middle-bottom. Consider one or two of those instead of smooth hills all along the bottom path. Looks good! I'd also advise putting the flag in a tiny pit like ctf_Viet so it's slightly protected from spraying.
