ESL 1on1 Ladder Finally Opened!!!

The ESL is pleased to announce the start of a Soldat 1on1 Ladder.

With the upcoming merge and start of the TNL, there will be a lot of activity. So we decided to start a 1on1 Ladder and give you the chance of duelling in some intense Soldier vs Soldier competitions to find out who is the best of the best. So we need you guys FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD to get some matches played! Signups are always open, and you can start to play matches now

As with all ladders, there are some requirements. Please make sure you have some contact information (common things like IRC/MSN/ICQ) on your profile. If you have any problems, please write us a support ticket, into the forums or ask in our IRC channel #esl.soldat on quakenet.

What will be the map that the 1v1 matches will be played on? ROK? or whatever each person chooses?

You may play on any server which has the correct settings. ESL has at least one server provided in #esl.soldat on QuakeNet, and you can usually find others by asking around.

We in soldat are all fair players, and respect a loss.  But if someone might not, maybe you should contact some of the admins, or not 1v1 someone that you don't trust.  Also, before you start the match, both players must confirm the matches, and what time it was played, so not very easy to cheat..
