Today at work I got crazy idea, to try Soldat again, then I go to soldatforums, and what I see as first post? Thread about busted hackers, I click a link and I see list about hackers who have been busted, many of those. This just makes me sad.

It's great that admins get those hackers and punish them, but why in this game there can't be fair players? I know that in any games there is cheaters, but in Soldat, it seems that there is specially lot of them, it may be that I'm wrong correct me if I am.

I hear ya. There's not many servers active at one time. I'll never know what the point is. Do cheaters want to prove something to just 1000 other players, or are they just too lazy to try and learn some damn skill? Especially with Soldat. It's a popular game, but not a big game. It's not like counter strike. It's a smaller community comprised mostly of dedicated players. I would like to see a lot more people play Soldat. I harass my friends all the time to get into the game, but they judge it by it's graphics and miss out on all the fun. Anyway, back to what I was saying.

The game actually gets more fun with the more experience you get. You learn how to use new skills and how to use combinations of skills to pull some cool moves or shots. Using cheats basically would "cheat" a player of such skills. Instead of learning a legitimate and fun skill, they learn how to use their cheat instead. >.< So sad and what a waste.

Exactly. I dont get what they are trying to proof. That they have skills? get real! If you dont have skills you dont have! But using some hacks to get "skills". That is one of the most ridiculous things you can do! You are not the only one who is playing game. Guys who dont have skills and they have to use hacks dont only lack the skill but also the balls! If you have to use hacks it proofs something about your personality and stupidity.

In Soldat the percentage how many players are cheating is huge if we compare it to other games. In WoW, Counter-Strike, CoD, BF and AoE it is much smaller... but why? Because they have something called anti-hack, they can bust those players without admins who have to work really hard to bust them.

We have something called BattlEye which isn't working properly. It have kicked me several times and I haven't even touched any hack. There is (or was) "knifecheat" antihack which kicked me many times because I changed my weapon to knife and throwed it to enemy kind of fast. Then it kicked me yesterday because I "corrupted memory". Give me a brake! I just was in windows minute or less because Gather got paused and then I got kicked. Does something like that happen in big games like WoW? Never!

Yes I know that Soldat can't get resources like that but you can't deny that it isn't annoying. It is annoying, and will always be. At least we have great admins in our community, if we wouldn't I dont know what I could do because Soldat community is generally shit because of cheaters and whiners.
