Avis' Soldat WeaponStatCalc
« on: April 02, 2007, 02:28:16 am »
Hey there, I've been working on a little application called "Soldat WeaponStatCalc", short "swsc.exe".
It calculates damage for the weapons in Soldat in almost every configuratable situation.
I'm planning to implent more stuff. So if you have some ideas, post'em!  :)

You know, the ricochet calculation would depend on the angle and the speed the bullet has at collision. That's a function which I don't know how it works. :>
Sure, you could take the given values, that you set for the ricochet values, but then again, you'd have to know the correct calculation of the ricochet and which speed would result out of the ricochet with those values.

OK, the source of swsc is lost  :-.

I may rewrite it after all.

Odd... Apparently, a ruger headshot in realistic does less than in normal.
Is this right?

If I recall correctly, someone said the dmg ratio in Realistic (headshot) is 1.1 and in normal mode it's 1.15

If thats wrong... then just choose the other one...
I put those values in it:

Head(r) = 1.1
Head(n) = 1.15
Normal = 1 (duh)
Feet(n) = 0.9
Feet(r) = 0.6
