My internet was down for a few days, and I got tempted to use an unsecured network. Well fuck me, I got infected. I did a full virus check, and vodonuwe.dll was removed, my computer's fine now, but I get the rundll error, "Unable to initialize vodonuwe.dll" everytime I start up the computer, any thoughts on how to remove it?

maybe type on run msconfig and try disabling it at start?

I got virus problems too, about 2 weeks ago. Vundo.dll has been a bug for me since AVG keeps on detecting it but doing nothing at all about it...

No I didn't do it, someone in my family was looking at there email and apparently download "pictures" they though were from a friend.

Linux elitist warning!!! I have not had to do a virus scan, check, fix, reformat, NADA in 5 MONTHS since I switched to ubuntu. SHAPOWEnd elitist warning.

BTW google-ing that dll gives this topic as the second hit!

You guys didn't read my post. I said I got rid of it, but how the hell do I disable the error message about it not being there when I startup?

There are lots of ways to do this, I'd go with HijackThis do note that this is not a antispyware / antivirus tool, so dont remove anything unless you know wtf you're doing.

You should find the dll in the scan results though. Click Do system scan with or without log is up to you. find the dll entry, check it and hit "fix checked". Feel free to post the results (in that case you'd be wanting with log) if you want me or whoever who might want to, look trough it for any more crap you'd want removed.
