Err...what?It's in reply #8, right under my first post in this thread.
After all, it's pretty much fact now that the PS3 is significantly more difficult to code for than the 360. Many developers have said this.
To use the PS3's abilities to their fullest potential (which is a hell of a lot more than the 360 or pretty much everyone's home computer) would require a tremendous amount of dev time and money and the way the PS3 has sold hasn't really been promising to sell enough money to recuperate the money let alone make a profit. It would be much more economical to develope to the Xbox's potental and then port to the PS3 just the way it is. Ea had trouble porting the Orange box from PC to PS3 in getting a playable framerate, the orange box should run well using only a 12th the resources the PS3 has to give. Since it was too much of a bother for EA to do a decent job they simply released the game without much fine tuning and I think that this developer lazyness is what really kills what is obviously superior in terms of capability.
When people finally break the PS3's potential, I'll buy one.
Then it will never show the potential, if everyone thought like you.Simply because there isn't enough demand to give incentive for companies to improve.
When the technology is there and popularized, people will start wanting quality instead of price.
