Multi weapon add-on's
« on: March 21, 2009, 04:09:21 pm »
Weapon add-on's like under-rifle grenade launchers, different firing modes: S. B. and A., and having a automatic weapon, like an Uzi or the like as a sub weapon. Plus, the right to change the way a weapon reloads. (Neostead shotgun loads on top, Type-86 loads from rear, recoil-less rifle from the breach, and so on.)

as for the uzi, if you have read the rules about what has already been suggested and what won't be added then you will know that there will be no new weapons added to the game. i think that the weapons are fine as they are and it would only make the weapons menu more complicated than it needs to be. I think that this idea would be better suited for armed assault or a soldat mod. Adam

The Don't-Suggest List
NEW WEAPONS This would invite even more weapon-balance issues, disrupt Soldat's file layout, mess up functionality of old mods, etc. Besides, you can already edit weapons.ini ;)

What I mean is to have one of your sub weapons to be fully automatic, ie. the pistol, and just edit the weapon's appearance to resemble an Uzi.

It's called modding, and you can do it in your own time. Look at Dairy's "Deadly Arsenal 2" Topic in the Modding section. I actually play with a full Deadly Arsenal 2 load out.

As for the add-ons, I don't think they're practical and will probably require some hard coding to change. F11

If you want to have a fully automatic secondary for playing against bots then thats fine but why don't you just use the SOCOM it fires quick enough and anyway there are primaries that are automatic

I don't get this idea at all. If you want to have autos for secondary weapon just pick it up from the ground. After few . rounds it's all over the place. :d
