Stopping new round from starting..

This has been a problem in Soldat for as long as I can remember...

If a player is on top of a map, which has no roof or something they are able to end the round by jumping over the side of the map, into the end of the map where you respawn.
If you do this while all players on the opposing team are dead, and the new round countdown is going, it will stop counting down and the new round will not start until the player kills himself.


I don't know how it would be fixed, other than telling mappers to do something about it... but meh, posting here instead, as I'm sure someone can figure something out.

Eh, it doesn't appear to be any of those, as it has nothing to do with polys.

It has to do with how some maps are made, in which you can jump off the very edge of a map, and it'll respawn you on your base.

This is a Soldat internal bug, even though many maps permit you to do this. I don't think there's anything we/you can do about it, unless you only play in maps that don't let you jump off the map far enough to make you respawn.

Would be good if you just didn't respawn in survival if you went outside of the map boundary.

the bug that let's you respawn by jumping out of map bounds should be just fixed
