I never really like Duke Nukem. But i never got into gaming until halo 1. The only old games I play/played are the Neverhood, Deathdrome (Best 95 game ever) and MDK.

  • It's been a long time.
I'm no fan on Duke Nukem, but it's sad to see a good game series die away like that. Duke Nukem 3D's one of the first games that started the legacy of FPS. Many fans waited for a new series, but 12 years later, it is finally announced that it is the end.

tbh, I love the original side scrolling Duke Nukem sharware dos game. I had loads of fun playing that when I was ~10. I later played and beat the entire Duke 3D shareware game while I was waiting out one of the 2005 florida hurricanes on a really old computer.

I had a blast with both games. I'm not sure if there are more games in the Duke series, but whenever I see a buff badass looking guy with blond hair I always get envious and think to myself..."That's fucking Duke Nukem and that hair cut is well accompanied by a machine gun!" So yeah, the game's had an effect on me.
