1. contrast is a bit low...
2. texture stretching horrible x_x basically i don't think that there is a need in any stretching... also texture has no edge
3. bridge is plain...
4. no waypoints...
5. map is quite laggy and  those tiny polygon patches you used make it even worse, as for bridge you could've used just single OPC pollygon...

as a whole i'll say that rainforest is better

it's nice that you started to use TMS, but put screenshots and download links straight to your post (just check out how other map topics are illustrate). if you don't have time for all this stuff you could use BB code generated with TMS...

i agree with Vtt about the texture strechings but about edges... a texture doesnt need edges...

most of textures with edges looks rather ugly(unless invisible edge)

and without edges the only thing thats wrong is that you get a little notification when you dl map....

i also agree with vtt that rainforest is better

bout map.... it looks rather plain with the big open space in mid

and the bridge looks too simple:(

im happy to see that my texture is getting used and thanks for throwing a credit for me:)

well Sukka as it is at the minutre youre one of the only haters of the pack....

do you think a compliment from the mapping forum moderator(SuoW) like this means it sucks???
he said:Just checked the textures, they are VERY satifying, one of the coolest texture packs ever.

i guess youre just very envy??...

gj buddy! gotta test it
i think its very small, good for 1vs1, is it smaller than (dm)Ratcave?

VirtualTT, contrast and texture are okaaaay: dark dangerous jungle - dats cewl!

but agree with smiluu: add some tunnels! for example a route under the bridge...

Tha feck man? I don't give a swimming sh*t even if jesus says its satisfying.
Congratulations for gettin' a title of "best texture pack ever" among the few other ones that I haven't even heard of.

Doing texture packs is just waste of time, look here's also sites like this: http://www.cgtextures.com/ .
Every mapper who designs his/her map obviously tries to make a texture to fit the theme perfectly (theres a guy called VTT for example...)
Its just impossible to find the right one from a texture pack with couple themes,
well lucky you if someone would find it delightful. I'd rather open paint and make my own fancy texture meself.

The textures you made is your style, your style isn't suitable for other's maps.
All the maps which are made with your textures will look yours.

Ya see you stupid taco-guy, this is one of my textures:

What would I and others accomplish if I'd release a pack with few textures of this kind?
Well I'd propably get some self-imagined ego and get cocky just like you.

Yeah that was all a nice normal "im Sukka i fuck you all" speech and blah blah blah

except from most of what you said was wrong....

1:If you havent heard of Suo Warrior click soldat maps & map making and look on the moderator sign......

2. Youre saying that making texture packs is waste of time and makes yourself ego.... well why do you think people makes packs?? they want to share some nice textures with others instead of starting a meanless "cant spell" flame war....

3.youre saying that textures made by another person wont be suitable for your own maps?? well... lets take an example of a very porpular map that came to be a defeault one in the new version... ctf_Blade--- Texure from one of Vtt's Texture packs....

well... if you got more crappy flamestuff then dont release it here as it is quite off topic from this map....

I liked the looks and texture works fine, nothing wrong there in my opinion. Map could have smoothier polygon structure, pretty awkward to walk on. I'm not experienced at dm so not gonna say a word about the gameplay.

1:If you havent heard of Suo Warrior click soldat maps & map making and look on the moderator sign......

Remember the thing that forums say I'm moderator and beta tester don't tell about mapping skills, I can say for sure, I'm not able to create such beauty as Vtt, I'm more like having player's view into looks, which isn't so hq. The reason why I'm moderating is the thing how I (and zakath) connect the mapping to irc community (to players), who really don't give a damn if texture is fitting perfect or not.

The main reason why I like your texture pack is the thing they defaultish like, easy to modify for different styles, just my opinion, nothing like God's telling you the only truth.

Smiluu happens to be that kind who want make everything by himself, and got harsh way to show his opinion. If he says your texture pack sucks in long paragraph, without any usable critic. Just skip the crap, "ok he doesn't like it", big deal?
