The topic should have been discussed before, however, I didn't find any other topic about it.

I don't know how hard it is to make, maybe someone would enlighten us, but the suggestion is to have a message that pops up when there's a newer version of soldat available. Don't tell me there already is a message?
Install now? Yes? - No?

It's already there. When I opened my old Soldat 1.4.2, a popup appeared and basically said the same thing as mentioned in this thread.

really? I guess you need to have an internet connection on when you open Soldat (duh?).

Yep, it's already there. I was planning on using the 1.4.2 that's still installed on my grandparents' machine, but when I fired it up a message came up asking me if I wanted to upgrade to 1.5. I said yeah. Took me straight to the download page.

Yes, you do. It fetches a text file from soldat.pl and determines to give you a message based on that.

I found out , there's no way to delete created topics is there.. I'm embarrassed, delete it.

We don't delete, we lock so we can refer to said topics later for future reference.
