Router Question....
« on: August 08, 2006, 03:51:03 pm »
I'm trying to portforward my router; its a netgear wpn824.

I'm portforwarding it so I can play Gunz.

I set up a static IP for my laptop and desktop, and when I try to login to my router (by typing the IP in the adress bar) I get the This Page Can Not Be displayed error! Any sugestions?

are you typing the ip of your computer?

try opening the command promt(start > run > type cmd click ok)
type ipconfig and try typing the ip of the default gateway.

www.portforward.com most likely has a tutorial for your router.

@ FliesLikeABrick =I went to that site, and I got an error when i tried typing my router IP into my adress bar, like it said.
My friend showed me www.routerlogin.net, and I logged in and fixed it from there.

You can close this now.
