Interesting...

However, there's one flaw. People can purposely stay on one end of the map, then when someone's about to attack them, they just cross over. The bullets can't possibly cross over to the other server too, and even if they do, lag may cause unexpected results.

its not like you to decide...anyway...
if this idea would become real...guess this "flaws" that you talk about will be removed....and even without it being removed...it still would be awesome :D

There must be maps made for this or edit current maps.

What a seamless server needs is:
- a powerful host to setup 2 or more servers.
- specifically designed maps which would act as one (or just split an existing one)
- a script which would detect if a player reaches the edge of a map
- disconnect the player and make him join again on the next server (this can’t be done but I can make it in 5 minutes for version 1.4.2 (feature added))
(or just split an existing one)

Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

Wow, think of the possibilitys, imagine something the size 3 ctf_Run's all together, or b2b. That would be EPIC.

isn't that already possible? Climbing servers with giant maps and loads of players show this is possible with just a single normal server.

And even if this was implemented, a giant playground would just be epicly weird in terms of gameplay.
