Forum not Active Enough

We have so many members in our forums and about 15 of us are online most of the time on average. Come on, I thought we would get alot more people on, and not just that there aren't that many people posting regularly, the time difference is pretty vast between each post which shows it takes a while for people to get an answer or whatever. Maybe we could advertise the forums in places and this could get more ACTIVE people to join our forums, post and even join the game and play too. It would be nice of those some 10,000 people registered get online and contribute instead of making pointless accounts with 1 or 2 posts.

SF isn't really a community forum, it's more of a forum where people go to seek help, download mods, and help imrpove soldat, or whine about.

Anyway, I wouldn't stress so much, maybe join another, smaller, and more active soldat forum. Theres an australian one (you're aussie right?) which is www.asctfl.net. I suggest joining there and taking a look!

Quality, not quantity. Timezones also play a factor in the delay between posts.

Right now, it's not about the forum community, it's the game's community.

STM's point hits the mark.
But things like what a4yo did (The haiku thing) helps.
Maybe make dun competitions like that more often. And from time to time make it something serious.

I just find it very cool that most of the active people are people we get to play with online. It doesent take long to make friends this way and really make it more fun. I agree with the time zone thing. Everyone else seems to be getting up and i am going to bed. Lol. I am on the west coast of the USA and when Soldat Beta came out everyone else was in day time and it was nine thirty at night for me.   [fist] Power to the people.
