CTF - Infite jet map.

Well... Not exactly what it sounds like.
There is this middle and upper route where you can safely stand. Jet is set to 30000 or was it 3000 dont remember..
Lots of jet anyways, your atleast supposed to have jet the whole time you live.

Layout design:

The XXX- means its deadly....which means the whole bottom is deadly.
International color for "doesn't collide" seems to be green, but at this case it means you can only shoot throught.
You can throw flag to your fellow flying friend in the other side or as well shoot the EFC before he/she caps.
The base platforms are floating seperately so friendly flag carrier can go to take some cover from below.

NOTE: The differense between middle and bases will be longer in the final version.

Here's a lil preview of graphics from red base.

Texture work will be detailed once again, and this time I will include more colors.

Feedback 'n suggestions would be appreciated.

Nice idea, I think spawning mid-air won't be appreciated by players - it makes you to constantly hold flying button. (I know it's purpose of this map...) For the texture, it's fine. Don't you think that these 2 routs will be spas-heaven? :D

Okay now its almost done, polygons, texture and some sceneries.
I will put some bunker-like things in front of the flags so the flag wont be shot down from the another site so easily.

-Theres now some open room in the up route
-Spawns are above the up-route enterance so spawnkilling gets a lil harder.

And damn! Wheres all the suggestions hiding? Is "infite jet"- title so disgusting?

is middle opc or obc+opc?
if only opc you can basically do a last second save by spraying down the flag. might be annoying if abuased though, otherwise it looks interesting.

Scenery working will take some time and now it isn't the time.
Atmosphere in the up and middle route will be similiar to a rotten battlefield and the pipe spots will have some random industrial junk.
I will continue doing this after few days.

man, you really should think about using default collors for poly type
just make a white poly, then select it, then you change poly type and see witch color it takes
green=DC
yellow=OPC
etc

I like smiluus idea for the upper route as it definitely decreases the Spas's and M79's domination for the rusher types. But it could do with 1 or 2 colliders.

Sitting in the middle and up route is indeed favorable for spas and m79 users, but rest of the map will be like hell for them.

Nah, that's where the minigun would kick in hard, also, in the upper route, if there's not much snipers, a minigun would block off the whole tunnel if the person using it had 2 miniguns or a team mate to switch turns to shoot\reload.

Hahah, when I first read that I thought "What the hell? It's hard to boost self with minigun..."

Allright, thansk to espada for reminding I had this project going on. (I forgot it huahahaa)
If you consider this as a necropost, please spare me I was banned for 2 months + in addition I forgot it.

And to the point, this is still not ready.. But it's proceeded a little bit, sceneries, plans, floorstuff added
