ctf_Ash / ctf_Dropdown-Mix

Lately I played a match on ctf_Dropdown on a public server and just saw the most spawning that I´d ever seen in life. Since I really hate spawning and arguing around with noobs I thought, that a mix of ctf_Ash and ctf_Dropdown would create a cool map if I took the best parts of bost maps. As you can see in the screen I use the bunkers to prevent spawning and I use the holes in the wall for falling flags. The middle part of the map is taken from the origianl layout of ctf_Dropdown so the map is balanced and interesting from layout.



What are your thoughts?

seriously, I don't get how this map would be playable..? Eh, seems like you've just thrown stuff together.

Eh I just don't like what you've did. Seems chaotic. very chaotic..

Seeing the familiar ash bases with a new bizarre environment is good idea. Gives the idea of
that your house is dragged to some random s**thole and getting used to field meanwhile
other team is raping you in the ass. Feel's new and familiar same time. But falling flags and
lame dropdown layout in addition just wont do the trick.

This map was just a try if I could enhance the gameplay. I screwed the project after testing it with some friends.

@Boots: The warning was for "spamming" a 1.5 release thread where I didn´t know it was posted ages ago since it was bumped by some dumb lords.

Interesting concept. i Wont say anything until its completely finished tho. id love to test it. But it seems like it could be a fairly large map.

I know that map but I had the idea without being inspired by that map :) I am not sure whether I will start working on that map again, but I have some free time now ;D

Dropping flags... eh, it requires a special map, and this map doesn't strike me as that kind of special. So yea, change the middle clunk of crab-pincers and you are getting somewhere. The good kind of somewhere.
