Guns Like this one

I have many mods by now and i found a gun that i enjoy over the rest.    Its called the B.A.R. Its from the WWII Mod. The stats are...

- 31% Initial Damage @ Torso
- Long Range
- 20 Bullets @ 5.45 Rounds/sec
- 1.67 s Reload
- Spread = *****
- Movenemt Inaccuracy = *
- No Recoil Setting

So i was curious if there were any simmilar guns to this one that anyone could think of? I am not usually the type of guy to use a gun like this but i find myself doing very good with it.    Could someone put a gun into a mod in my honor with simmilar yet different stats? I could get some stats and a real gun to base it off of.

This thread should have been in the mod section.

First of all, can you show us a link to the mod? Can you find the weapons.ini for that mod and look for the weapon the BAR replaces? From your description, it's stats would be something like:

Damage= [(150,000 x 31%) / whatever your speed is]
FireInterval=11
Ammo=20
ReloadTime=100
Speed= [a value 250 and above]
BulletStyle=1
StartUpTime=0
Bink=-49
MovementAcc=1
Recoil=0

I tell you, this gun is way overpowered under normal circumstances and its "spread" setting is utter useless. It's essentially an automatic Ruger with 3-shot kill with firing rate of an AK, and has 5 times the usual Ruger ammo.

Frankly, i don't think this as an overpowered or a rather useless weapon at all.

weapons which have a speed which is at least 250 or higher falls in the category of 'realistic' weapon stats.'

3 shots per kill is a very reasonable damage judging from realism.
Large spread can also mean that the weapon isnt fit for moving at speed, but preferably crouch-moving or proning.
20 round mag? sure why not?

As a realistic mode player, i find this setting just fine for the average long rifle such as the BAR.

But imo, playing this without recoil or any other disadvantages is abit too much.

I'm talking about under ordinary gaming circumstances.

The spread he is talking about is Bink, but I am completely unsure of what kind of bink he is talking about. Though if it is self-bink, then it is easily avoidable by tapping. If it's ordinary bink, then it's okay if the value is high (though not as high as a Barrett). I agree with you on this part: It has no recoil and no movementacc, so it's 100% accurate when unaffected by bink, which is too much.

We have kinda a similar gun for this for Realistic though. Realistic Minimi is essentially this gun - only main difference would be sacrificing ammo for a bit more damage and having a faster reload.

Thanks for the gfx MattH. I have made a gun but this is the gun as is in the WW2 mod. I messed with it. And unless you add ammo and stuff you cant make it much better. However, upon making it better you have to further boost the other guns to make it not so one sided.

I like it. To fine tune it i actually turned a few things down. I just like the setup.. The fact that the GFX for it are awesome... Lol
