...are you saying that long time ago it actually was "sunshine and rainbows" and nobody was kicking anyone and knew english? o_O

And yeah. Veterans you're talking about have probably quit. This happens to most players eventually. Maybe they're playing again somewhere, but on a different server.
Just play on good popular servers - they usually have a plenty of decent players.

Being a Polish-made game, it's not too surprising that there's a significant minority of Polish people playing. But the real surprising thing is why they seem to presume that you're most probably Polish, with them saying "pl?" or "polak?".  ::)

And 12 yr olds being in the public servers is nothing new.

Yes, I am back after an unofficial leave.

Never expect people to have too long of an attention span regarding things like Soldat. Real life has a tendency to screw up the little things.

Is it ironic that this is the second thing I post in after being gone for two years?

Ironic or prophetic.
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.

Well I've been gone for two years, since losing my internet connection along with a computer and my girlfriend back in 2008. As someone previously mentioned... Real life fucks up everything, and most people don't take gaming seriously enough to give a crap. After losing my net, I never spent hours wondering 'OMG What's gonna happen if I don't play Soldat/Troll the forums anymore???"... I spent most of my time trying to pick up the pieces of my life, and getting back to work...

As for Soldat being full of Polish players: This isn't entirely true depending on the region you're in when your playing it. That said, no matter what country... theirs always a dickhead or 50 that will screw with you just for kicks. Hell, I do it all the time :P

Life. And windows 7 :<

I guess I'm still here though aren't I.

Orion and SDFilm. I guess you fellas left when I joined the forums albeit I first played Soldat 4+ years ago, which makes me feel good inside. and of course I knew who you two were, yus. right. I still feel cool knowing I once saw your avatars

by the way, what's veteran status? 4+ years on forums? I wanna feel extra cool one of these days, you know, with my soldat forums badge of tooting

Once you break the 1k post mark, or so I think, you get the veteran tag. It's all postcount, really.

Also, the fact that seeing me makes someone else feel cool gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. It truly does.

@Bone: Since I've always been one of those people who spends most of their entire existance in cyberspace, I kinda clung to Soldat for a while after leaving it behind, though I let it go after about a week or two. College was taking a bigger place anyways, though to be honest, that was about the time I got my new Macbook and my Second Life addiction began. Always something else it seems.
