Ok, i know its a crappy title, but i couldnt think of anything better at this moment... feel free to suggest something else.

Now, i admit that this idea is based on mario's smash brothers. I always wanted to play this game online, but the emulators for the pc dont work that well, and often mess up... and i think soldat is the perfect game to "convert" this other game.

The idea is like this. The goal of the game is to throw the other players off the platform(s), so they die flying away (in soldat, they die because of the instant-kill walls). The player who has the lowest amount of deaths after a certain amount of time wins. For this game, i suggest a low time amount, otherwise games will get boring soon.

I already made a first map, but its still very basic... it can be downloaded from http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=other&file=BS_Base.PMS.

This map should be played with berserker and predator bonuses enabled, others disabled. Furthermore, only the Spas weapon should be allowed, with the following settings:

[Spas-12]
Damage=0
FireInterval=1
Ammo=5
ReloadTime=175
Speed=137
BulletStyle=3
StartUpTime=0
Bink=0
MovementAcc=1

[Punch]
Damage=0
FireInterval=6
Ammo=1
ReloadTime=3
Speed=50
BulletStyle=6
StartUpTime=0
Bink=0
MovementAcc=1

Well, tell me what u think... some (or a lot) probably wont like it because its almost a copy of another game, but i can always try, cant i? ;D Ur also free to host if u want, i cant do this myself due to an annoying router that wont let meĀ  >:(

EDIT: almost forgot to mention, this map should be played with about 4 players or less. I will create a bigger one if people like it. :)

EDIT2: of course, punch also has to be adjusted... added the settings.

Well, that's certainly a very nice idea.
I think I'll make one or two maps for it, now that I've prodouced a releasable one. I need a bit of practice with mapmaking, anyway. =]
Just tell me what the map prefix will be (example: Trenchwar maps are called tw_whatever or ctf_tw_whatever, tw is the prefix), and I'll get started on a map...

Funny, I had already made a map and mod kinda the same as this. Actually I made a lower ratio version of Temple from Super Smash Brothers Melee. As well I had a bunch of polys that killed you around the outside of the map. So pretty much you boot or smash the other person off the map and the person with the lower deaths wins.

Oh one thing. When I thought of the idea, I had never see anything like this before.

i think this idea has been around some while ago... i tried to make a map for it 1 month ago, but it's hard to figure out which layout serves this gamemode.
also i suggest some more weapons. for example a 20 shot mp5 with a fire interval of 1 and a faster reload creates some nice pushing.

What makes that puch of special, if you chance to those settings, does it makes a big smash ? And the spas-12 too ?
Check the fucking rules on sigs.

I believe it just gives the weapons enough force to move the other player, but with no damage caused, just like when you normally punch your own team mate, but a greater force behind it.
