"You and your group waits in a bunker on the reinforcements. youre laying at the sniper post and looks out on the dead raw terrain of ekeptia. the reinforcements are almost arrived but then you see a group of Japanese taking sight on you and begin to shoot!!! you just reach to throw yourself back into the bunker. you feel alot of pain in the left shoulder and you look on the hole going into the bones and the blood streams out!! you jump back and grab a bandage wich you use to bind in your arm. you gently crawl back to the sniper spot and throws a grenade out of the bunker and just down to the trench and the japanese. you hear a big explosion and loud screams. then you look out of the window and through the smoke an armored tank rolls out and takes aim on the bunker!! and WWIII begun"
WzzP there....
tw_Breakdown is a pretty small instant battle trenchwar map for fast and rapid players.
the terrain and layout is made with the dead and raw theme wich i really like:)
the middle bunker is the head point:) grab it and you have an awesome weapon.
the map is made smaller than others because of the underground way wich gives you opportunities:)
the map is not waypointed yet so if anybody would do that for me i would be very happy and make sure to put your name into the map description
this is my first trenchwar map so please comment and critic and tell me wich things i should edit

TW usually doesnt have two routes pass the map.
Maybe this is the first one?

Bonus from the story anyways :D

About the graphis, I dont see anything special, since all TW maps looks alot like this.

Man, this looks good. Two routes would be mad! Twice as much fun in the trenches because their isnt just one route to war. Average map but I like the two routes.

My tw_Canada was the first one with 2 routes I think :)

Pretty nice map I think, if it would be waypointed it would be much cooler, but anyway it´s a good job ;)
Am missing the wzzp by the way ;D

Nice efforts,  but i don't think thins can work as tw map... Everything is way too large, as a whole map is kinda empty. Tonnels are wide and don't have any cover. Giant middle bunker is really useless. just compare it's size to the size of bunkers of the classic tw maps, such as Gloryhill. You should really keep attention to details and make map more fancy. Such layout was used before, this map reminds me tw_Tower. In theory such layout can work, if only not that oversized midlle bunker.

Also several files are missing:
 ! texture "waves.png" file not found

 ! scenery "HoDTorch.png" file not found
 ! scenery "O_bridge.bmp" file not found
 ! scenery "ol_col4.bmp" file not found
 ! scenery "skull_fire.png" file not found

I suggest using Soldat MPA (MapPacker), a really cool programm by VirtualTT, which automatically searches for the files you are needing, you can choose, whether you want to pack 1 map or more, whether standard maps/scenery/texture will be taken into the RAR-file you want to make to release your maps ;)

ehh, actually Rainrider made SMP ~Soldat Map Packer, and i made Soldat MPA ~Soldat Maps&Prefabs Archiver

srry.... the missing files is some that aint in the map but i forgot to remove unused sceneries

The clouds look heinous.

actually the clouds only looks heinous on the overview....

they aint even close to be so black and ugly in the ingame map...


please download it before you comment clouds again.....

I wasn't looking to critique the whole map. I was just stated an initial reaction :P

Middle bunker still looks like a modern pyramid, but there ain't nothin' wrong with that so long as it functions right.

But I really think map will need to be played by ore than 8 players because of the routes, otherwise there will be not enough struggle for real playing

The bunker design is made for modern wafare....


the reason for the "pyramide look" is that nades explosive and ect easily can slide down and hit earth=no bunker damage... but as same time you and still climb to the roof to assault your enemies with a suicide spas jump(just avoid the hurting barbwire warped on the roof)

this is just some made up shit but it  sounds cool!!!
