jrgp if you wanna be manipulative take pokemans as a lesson: you crush their spirit so they lose the will to live, and if they commit suicide there's no blood on your hands. Alternately you can jump in and look like a hero by saving them from suicide.

Lol, like have a item in the game that's a gun, and if all your pokemon die you can always pull out the gun and shoot the trainer in the head and run.

I totally cheated and bred a bunch of Pokemon in SoulSilver, then had someone else Pokeshift them into B/W and transfer them to me. Here's my main team:

Typhlosion: [Flamethrower, Eruption, Will-O-Wisp, Quick Attack]

Blastoise: [Hydro Pump, Surf, Strength, Earthquake]

Raichu: [Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Flash]

Alakazam: [Psychic, Recover, Shadow Ball, Psybeam]

Weavile: [Ice Beam, Night Slash, Dig, False Swipe]

Tyranitar: [Rock Slide, Earthquake, Crunch, Brick Break]

Here is what my secondary team will be:

Hydreigon

Chandelure

Mienshao

Eelektross

Corracosta

Braviary

Not final, could swap out one or two of those. I especially like Bisharp but I couldn't find space in the team.

These new pokemons all suck.

Charizard - because it's just awesome.
Pikachu  - because Misty is a whore, and it takes a million years to beat her unless you have an elec.
Gyrados - because it's Gyrados, and it's wicked.
for the last 3, someting that can learn cut, strength, fly and surf.
I fucking miss all you cunts!

Kazuki, it's silly to have two similar moves in one moveset, eg. Hydro Pump & Surf for Blastoise. You can choose between power and accuracy, leaving room for another move.

Yeah, they're hacked Pokemon games. They're not official.

Kazuki, it's silly to have two similar moves in one moveset, eg. Hydro Pump & Surf for Blastoise. You can choose between power and accuracy, leaving room for another move.

Actually, I like having two moves of the same type on my sweepers (which happens to be my entire team for in-game) because I've found that it's effective to use low-power-high-accuracy moves when the type effectiveness is in your favor and high-power-low-accuracy moves otherwise. This is especially true when you're battling another person because you don't get the chance to switch Pokemon when you make one of theirs faint.

You'll notice that this is the case with most of my current team. Raichu has Thunder and Thunderbolt, Alakazam has Psybeam and Psychic, Typhlosion has Flamethrower and Eruption, and Blastoise, like you already mentioned, has Surf and Hydro Pump. I'm comfortable with these for in-game. They'll change later on when I begin to specialize (via breeding) my Pokemon.

I'll probably breed a Pichu that knows Volt Tackle, and it will be my paralysis slave / sacrificial lamb (doing high damage with recoil). I can easily breed a Squirtle and train it on the special event Victini (it gives 3 HP EVs every time you kill it) so that I have a tanky Blastoise. I can teach it annoying moves like Rest and give it leftovers. I'll probably turn my Typhlosion into an annoyer. I'll have it burn the opponent with Wll-O-Wisp and then give it annoying moves like a confusion move and Dig so that it can only be hit every other turn (except by Earthquake). Tyranitar and Alakazam are both pretty good sweepers. Tyranitar is a physical sweeper, kinda slow but tanky, and has a variety of moves. Alakazam is a special sweeper, very quick but squishy, easily takes care of psychics and ghosts. Weavile is pretty much my anti-dragon Pokemon. Plus he looks badass and is even faster than Alakazam, so I keep him around.
