Hello everyone, I tried out of boreness to create a map, I did it quickly, and would like to know what you think about it, don't mind the bad drawed polys or anything, I just want to have opinions about the map itself, and wether its a good idea or not > anything related.

Uhm, the middle points where you enter are player collided only, and the ground under the flag is ICE, and the walls next to it are deadly. I think this is handy to prevent TOO easy capping, but im not sure where to place proper spawnplaces.

I might created too much grenade spawns not sure. Also I played the map myself already for a short time, and in a 3v3 I think the flag spots are too close to each other. So if you would have take over the mid spot with your whole team, its WIN. Thats why I was thinking about a THIRD way to enter mid, but I suck at using this program and want you guys to decide whats good and what is not a good idea.

Firstly, it's an interesting idea.
But personally, I look at that... and wonder how this map could not be abused.
A team could have two people throwing the flag to each other :L

If that ramp towards the middle is ice too, then that speeds it up alot. If the ramp is not ice, then just having ice under the flag will do very little to slow capping down.

I was thinking about making it a big pillar from top to bottom in the middle, and create a few small openings in it, so it would delay the capping alot.

I'm confused, can you plz make some colloring? Following the usual: aqua = ice, green = DC, yellow = OPC, purple = death, etc?

Bump.

I changed some issues, on fast capping etc.

Removed deadly, Iced ground/walls around the flags.

Added: More lanes, Balanced Spawns, Proper Flag spots,

(Middle Block)-> Top is Regenerating, Rest of the walls are HURT. (see picture #2).

As I noticed lately, the map is a bit unbalanced (talking about one side is bigger then the other). Im requesting help here to fix this, because I have no idea to properly edit polygons, or even making them smaller and bigger.

Also, any opinions about my new concept?

It's definitely better.
It is getting closer to the borderline of being fun/playable. The spawns are still a bit far off from the flags..

Bump.

As for grandmaster, Im not sure if spawns are too far, if you imagine a 3v3, its definitely going to be hard a fight, since the flag spots are kind of well covered, a long way to go imo.

I'm saying that the player spawns might be too far from the inner section.. I can't really tell without having a run around in it myself.
It's one of those maps that will either work quite alright, or flop and be really bad.

Your idea has inspired me to create a different design myself xD

Yes so it got no tactic and gameplay all players yust rush in the middle and they shoot and spray like every breath is they last.
So Try implanting the "yellow walls" and the map would be one of the better in soldat

The yellow wall's are "only player colide" so you can trow flag  :-\
And Its a CTF map not rush and CAP every 10 seconds most ctf maps that are played online are so that you cant cap easly

I suggest adding some OBC (only bullets collide) walls in the middle, because you can easily snipe from one spawn to the other.

you mean only players collide :D

Also thanks for any feedback. I will work on those walls. IT seems a great idea.
