It would be awsum to merge this with http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=40010.0
Having a sort of drop down menu would just look very messy, and kill the point of having improved spectating anyway.
lol, all other games have clicking and you want soldat to change it.. yeah right
Soldat should stay original, but please make it like all the other games!!!
-Having the players on 1-9 (in the same order as right click works)
-Binding player nicks/numbers in the taunt.txt
-Making a command like /spec <nick>/<number> <key (0-9 I suppose)>
While in spectators: Open f1 menu - click a player to spectate.

You would have to edit the taunts.txt to get that working. Now imagine using 32 keys for this.Quote from: ginn on July 20, 2011, 07:55:03 pm-Making a command like /spec <nick>/<number> <key (0-9 I suppose)>This is slower then clicking a few times (requires more concentration imho).Quote from: Monsteri on July 21, 2011, 03:27:59 amWhile in spectators: Open f1 menu - click a player to spectate.IMHO this is currently the best solution besides simple clicking, however the playerlist changes so you might click on the wrong player when the player score changes. So not it's not really that great.
make it possible to see the players position on the mini-map while you're in spectators team.
Quotemake it possible to see the players position on the mini-map while you're in spectators team.its possible but usually disabled on the servers cause it gives huge advantage if you are on teamspeak with clanmates or any other voice chat
