Access violation 006115DB in module 'Soldat.exe.' help.
« on: October 06, 2011, 11:30:52 pm »
There are some maps I join that I constantly get notified with this access violation pop up. Even when I kill someone, it pops up as well.

Much appreciated. Thanks.

What are this maps (give me names)? Does it happen in multiplayer only or in Single Player, too?

Please give more details.

What version of Soldat you used.
The map name.
The player names which make it happen.
How to reproduce it.
Your Soldat settings (font.ini).

Best way would be reporting it on the bugtracker: http://bugs.soldat.pl

This usually happens when I play online multiplayer. Maps that have been occurring such as 'LS_FALL1NGS1LENT', 'LS_FALLOUT_BUNKER', 'LS_LAKE' and other similar names. I know these maps have been designed by other users, not soldat itself.

The soldat version I play is 1.6.0 (c). I can't be certain about the names because it happens when I kill or get killed by that particular user and it has happened quiet a few times. I've asked someone about that problem during a match and he said its 'possibly' because their nicknames are too long. Another thing to which why I'm getting these access violation notification is because recently I've been joining this Infiltration server that contains Bots with different names. So it wouldn't be 'Poncho, Terminator' etc. Game name : IP for that server [(WM)Last Stand : 109.233.88.2]

I've had a look at my soldat settings in regards to font.ini and I've matched them all with font.help or something. So pretty much the numbers are all identical to what font/help is shown.

You can try to choose FontBigSize to 14 and and Font1 and Font2 to bgothl or some other font style like lucon (but you will have to plant that font file into Soldat's folder)... I don't know that will help you... If it doesn't, bring back previous settings...
