Soldat crashes as soon as I open it
« on: September 30, 2011, 08:26:33 pm »
I was playing Soldat 1.6.0 and I got an error with something like 'invalid pointer location', and soldat crashed.

Ever since then, each time I try to run Soldat, I double click it, the screen goes black like its about to open, however it then closes by itself for some reason.

I tried to uninstall and install 1.5 version however the same thing happens.

I'm on windows XP.

Any ideas?

Also try to play windowed mode and try some options.
Is there more then just this short error message?
I guess this has to do with missing dlls in the system32 folder check out:

This might be your bug (let me know which one of the dlls you are missing so I can fix it).

I think this was because I had taken out my sound card, when I put it back in it worked... thanks
