Yup, christmas is upon us, or at least the countdown has officially started. I'm not usually in a christmassy mood, but this year I'm off the hook. Is anyone else in the proper holiday spirit?

i'm in the holiday spirit. i just got elected to the board of the most important bartending society in norway (and i'm the first international member omg), and we're having a giant black-tie knighting ceremony (where i will receive highest accolades in front of his majesty) followed by a dope-ass julebord where i am giving the opening speech and the ladies' speech (that is to say, a speech dedicated to the ladies. i am still a man.) followed by an illegal boxing match. and then the homebrewing society is pimping us out with some jule-ale. then on the 22nd i'm going to svalbard to experience total darkness and polar bears for a week while christmas actually happens. and then me and a girlfriend are heading to latvia for some cheap things and to see some opera at the national theater. new years in riga babayyyyy. at some point my mum is flying in from the states for a visit too, but i can't quite recall when. either way, it means better food for a week. christmas food. christmas spirit, waka waka waka waka!

Christmas eve is fun, but it doesn't really feel like Christmas till the 25th, and it doesn't stop till college starts! Which will be the 30th of January :O

Not doing anything particular for Christmas but I am hosting a Brony New Years Eve party. I don't much fancy doing anything around Christmas day except maybe going to other family memebers for dinner. I like spending the day at home, after that I don't mind so much.

Both actually, 24th drinking far too much so you can be hangovered with your family at the 25th. So cute :)

WOO! Christmas's today - Terraria v1.1 update came out!

My family doesn't "truly" celebrate Christmas - to us it's just an excuse to buy lots of expensive food. We use that excuse on both the Dec 24th/25th and Jan 7th Christmasses. :P
