We are getting closer finally release Soldat 1.6.3!
Here's the awaited first release candidate of Soldat 1.6.3 (aka Soldat 1.6.3rc1).

Please test it and report bugs! We plan to release Soldat 1.6.3 on 2012-05-09 if no major issues are found in this release candidate.
People who used the beta should try to update via the autoupdater (just run Soldat and you will see a popup).

Soldat 1.6.3rc1 changelog:
- Added error message with missing textures
- Added Greek language to soldat
- Added missing translation in soldat config #173
- Modified updated config dialog to work with longer text
- Modified improved options tab position and size of controls
- Modified Admin can only be kicked by Anti-Cheat and from console
- Modified re-added Sleep(1) as it keeps the CPU load down (from BETA)
- Modified default hint on the flag throwing button to show jump and crouch keys
- Fixed access violation on missing textures in gostek-gfx\ranny folder
- Fixed too many bots error message in non team mode when adding too many team players
- Fixed JoinDefault23073Label OnClick event was missing
- Fixed trying to load files from wrong folder before loading them from the correct folder
- Fixed issues with too long translated labels
- Fixed issues with labels get smaller and multiline while text would fit in single line

Edit: Just downloaded and installed the patch, ended up with errors resulting from starting with a mod.



This mod worked fine on the previous version.

Oh I didn't add 'load default soldat files when mod doesn't have all files'.

Nothing major actually. I will have to make sure this doesn't happen again ;)

1. Got same "Error loading texture" while launching a mod.
2. I guess that "Soldat 1.6.3rc1 Patch" installer doesn't replace the \txt\font.ini with corresponding *.ini file from \txt\languages\ folder regarding a selected language. Didn't check a full version installer.
3. I couldn't join my servers (updated from 1.6.3b1). Here is a log from admin-client:

I got the same problem, and it seems that its happen only on linux servers.

It's no mistake, it's the only map added. Thanks for the report, we added that in the changelog.

I think you are talking about ctf_Cruz. And yes, that one had limited gameplay. Crucifix was released in April. You will play this again and you'll see how it is now.
