Aside from "what we're talking about anyway, forget it", I don't imagine controls though. How to move, aim, jet, shoot etc.

No it would not be.
1. there was few topic about that, and no.
2. try to play GTA: SA, RE, Quake or any other action game on your phone. its pain in the ass, and Soldat is Way more dynamic than that. so NO.
3. Android/iOS is different system than windows, so NO


beside did you tried Portal for SHIELD(Nvidia Android Console), its one worst idea to port dynamic FPS game to mobile device, even if SHIELD have joystick its still pain in the ass. and 98% of phones have only touchscreen, so BIG F NO. :]

Soldat its way too dynamic to control it using touchscreen, and its not so easy like conversion from PC->Console like making dumb AI, aim assistant and removing some options, its way harder.

Beside there is still no proper Soldat for Linux and mac, even no look of GUI and you ask for mobile version xD xD

A touchscreen based version could be done but like others said it would play differently and you wouldn't have much fun playing against people with keyboard and mouse.
It would be a different game with adapted controls and movement for touch screen devices: "Soldat touch"
Additionally the network is not always great while commuting so it would be mostly offline play.

There are certainly better options for touch screen based games than soldat.
Maybe if devices have a keyboard and mouse it would be an option but as for touch screens I don't see a good way to translate the controls.

Well, it's very useful and a quick way to play Soldat in the moblie way. But how do we control Soldat, I thought about this, even on the console controller is difficult to play Soldat.
If the devs ever made a ''Soldat Touch'', the player wouldn't able to fly.
