Streaming with OBS doesnt work with Soldat 1.7.0

I get a black screen when streaming with OBS.

I imagine that happens in fullscreen. You can try this: use windowed mode but set resolution to whatever your desktop resolution is, but add 1 pixel of height. Example, if you have 1920x1080 set it to 1920x1081

It's actually with Windowed Fullscreen mode. Will try. ^^

Edit: Nope, doesn't work.

To make things a little clear, OBS captures video in the main menu of the game but not of actual gameplay. Rip.

Hmm. Do you have windows Aero stuff enabled? Could try in a normal windowed mode too but I think that would work the same way as adding 1 pixel.

Hmm.. still get the same thing. No Aero stuff enabled.. tried it with aero, still can't stream in-game.

Maybe you could try some of the suggestions from their FAQ:

Are you trying to stream a fullscreen game? You'll need to hook into it using the 'Game Capture' source in OBS. As well, OpenGL games like Minecraft have issues with Window Capture and you'll need to use Monitor Capture to show them. If desktop capture is showing up as black, it indicates that you either need to update windows or update DirectX.

By the way. I *think* it's more likely to work with Aero enabled with windowed mode (but don't use desktop resolution as that behaves the same way as fullscreen).

Yeah, Aero mode works but it's really choppy and screen-teary even with V/G Sync. It's alright.

Fixed it. Works perfect. ^^

Yeah since 1.7 you can also use Game capture I tested it with OBS during the beta versions and it worked great.
