How do you use fraps?

Hi im makeing a movie but i dont know how to use fraps i configured everything then when i go on soldat and get on a server,i press backspace which is my hot key and it says 60 then when i press it again it says 30 when i press it again its 1 then immediatly goes back to 60 how do i let it record all of my movie instead of leaveing it in segments,and if you cant keep recording then how do you put your movie together?

what search button?all it says is that un registered version only holds 30 secs of recording.

I love this thread for the following reasons:

1. Both of the other people's posts don't help in the least
2. ds dude is present, default windows desktop avatar and all

If you have the unregistered version of Fraps, then you can't record for more than 30 seconds. However, there are some older versions that has less functionality that remained free, so you could try to download one of them.

OMG don't press the record button that many times, fraps saves files uncompressed and the 30sec files can be humongus. Open the fraps window and press the view directory or something like that to see what you've recorded. Or go to the place where it's installed. Every time you press the record button the fps numbers will turn red and after 30sec it'll turn back to yellow.
