Others to download my maps

People seem to have a problem downloading a map I created from my server(home). Am I missing a step? Can someone give me a bit of insight?

Lobby-connection problem, perhaps? Can people join your server when it just has regular official maps?

in the past yes, I haven't tried making a server with regular maps in a while. My friend however, to whom I sent the same map manually, could.

Alot of people have this problem, do you run the server on dedicated? people can download from my dedicated server but not if i host in-game

What's the name of your map? If it's too long, people can't download it. I think the limit was 12 letters including prefix (correct me if i'm wrong:P).

Sometimes the soldat.exe process doesnt go away if you quit soldat and can screw up yout server, they use the same ports etc. Try find it and kill it. Also, maps without any scenery are buggy, put a few sceneries in there, from the name i think there may not be any.
