I think Soldat is stuck with the Default profile, since it doesn't accomodate with the reg (or you haven't restarted but it's harder to happen). This occured to me once. It's a weird thing, and annoys.
Try this. Go to the Profiles menu, select the one you want to play with (NOT the default) and click the green button (Start, game, whatever...) that redirects to the Start Game menu.
Then, go to the Player tab and change some values.
Now, play an offline game (just start one and exit, no need to finish it playing).
Exit Soldat.
Restart the computer.
Everything should be right.
If not, try using a Profile editor, you can find one in the Apps section, and edit the profiles there.
If not yet, copypaste some of the important Soldat folders (bots, mods if you have any, and replaced graphics and/or files) to a safe directory, uninstall Soldat, delete it's folder and reinstall, then paste all the backup'ed things. Oh and yes, restart.
