The secret to being a Barrettard

It's much more simple than you think> I discovered this today while playing !Elite Snipe&Slice. I used to constantly miss with the Barret due to MovementAcc which made me very frustrated. Then I realised all you have to is go superman in midair, and you shoot strait every time! I couldn't believe I didn't realise it before, but I instantly became better at sniping. In fact I ended up with 14 kills, 6 deaths and 1 cap.

But superman works too...and certanly looks cooler

Yeah, the only real advantage of going prone is making yourself a smaller target... but then you make yourself predictable. You limit your choices of response when encountering an enemy threat if you need to prone before getting a shot off.

The best thing to do is to release any movement keys and then if you miss do a backflip and throw a nade or two just to buy you time

SoldatWiki Article - Simply, its a glitch that causes you to go flying towards the cursor in a crouch-like position.
I found that I play better with the Barret in the Superman position, too. But I still cannot kill with the darn thing.

*HINT*  Use this technique on autos aswell! Drill your opponents with a cute stream of lead!

This really went seriously offtopic, the thread itself wasn't so much for soldat moments anyway but I thought people will make it so. Unfortunately It became a "I suck/am good with <insert weapon here> and bug questions. Locked.
