Suggestion: When rating, returning to your previous page rather "Are you sure you want to vote this way" type of message. (IMO, Javascript would be the best option, so you don't go away from the page at all, but still should work w/out it); May be a problem when it comes to viewing random though, unless there's a session thing, or use javascript's back, or some sort of index for multiple pages, or something.
