Avarax positioned the polygons and most scenery; I added more scenery, spawns, and waypoints, and fixed a polybug. Hope you like it Avarax, ya CS addict, you
A new version is being worked on and will be released soon; downloading now may fetch you an old version of Jungle Shrine.
(I'll edit the subject line and add something like "Updated" or "New Version," etc. so you can tell)

It needs better BG colors. The top seems too bright and unsaturated.

I felt sandbags, crates etc. would've taken away from the atmosphere presented. And the BG fits nicely IMO

yeah, a bit more of a green background would be nice, but definatley not too bright. I kinda like this map; its simple, striaght forward, and looks nice (though nothing visually spectacular). gj! keep it up!

some good-looking lianas might do the trick and some more jungleflora background scattered around the left and the right parts of the map aswell.

better, but still not a berserk scenery banger level.
*put 3 middle 100% transparent lianas quite near eachother and make their length vary and then add some 45~40% transparent lianas as a background to the left and right of those 3 other lianas.
*put 40% "back" transparent jungleflora.bmp into the lowest left part of the map and add some more transparent/nontransparent trees to the right.
*use 45% transparent "front" m_craters or m_crack(1,2,3)'s

Good map. Are perfectly made waypoints and the structure is interesting. But it is a pity to me that you have given not enough attention scenery and a texture. Nevertheless the map is pleasant to me.

Thanks, all, but Avarax also gets a lot of credit for initial creation. I'm rather busy right now (have a piano competition going this weekend), so perhaps I'll be able to modify it more next week.

Sure, actually. You probably have a better idea in mind as to what scenery to add (or change), anyways. While you're at it, maybe tweak the BG colors a little, so it's not so gray and... boring, I guess
And one last thing; if you can find some sort of object to scatter across the map as colliders, that'd be great, but I didn't want to put stuff like crates or sandbags because I feel it'd take away from the natural atmosphere of the map, so I'm not sure as to what could serve as a collider. If you can't come up with anything, that's perfectly fine; the small stone Doesn't Collide-polygons are just as good

But also you have to remember, Keron, that in Soldat we're not environmentalists nor camping boy scouts xD. If you were to add sand bags, crates, etc. You would give the map a more war-like setting in which soldiers will be able to access a diversity of scenery with colliders (that's what they are) to potect themselves. Trust me, without those things, this kind of maps tend to get boring after some time. Also happens with big spaces ever since the noobs will complain about m79 and grenade spamming.
On the other hand, this is a pretty good map. Seems like it took a few hours to make it and it surely makes you feel relaxed while playing on it. IMO, this map should be used after you’ve played a zombie match with 30 bots for at least an hour xD

I guess some sort of rubble graphic / DC-polygons would suffice as collider-cover, but if you say so...
