The gather server password is randomly generated every time a gather starts.

To play a gather you MUST use irc or else you will be kicked/banned if you join a gather server. Use #soldat.gather or #sna.gather on quakenet.org

No sorry :/ I didn't record, but the game was along the lines of:

Me run towards him, spraying Mp5 shots at him, quite a few hit. I think "he's screwed now cos I've binked the **** out of him" Then he shoots his Barret, knocks my head clean off. Repeat. I change weapons a few times, we throw grenades, mine don't seem to hurt him, he ends up with about 15 kills and I have 3, repeat for 3 different maps, and there you have it.

In short, he raped me.

I used to use MP5 in non R/S, what you're probably doing is getting too close...

Now I know you know this, but you have to implement it, why get really close?His shot will hit you no matter if you get really close to him.

 I know it's an HK's strong point but if it just ends up getting you killed, you gotta re-strategize, try giving about 5 soldats space between you and him at all times, proning, etc. Keeping off of the ground prevents you from getting hit with nasty ricochets.

Last word of advice, Barretards love predictable movement, jump around and make it hard to line up.

Yeah hi BooBoo, I have been trying to make my movements less predictable, and going on routes that are closed and with lots of cover, to avoid barreters

By movements he doesn't mean route, he means how you navigate and in what style your soldat moves. If you just use jets and then float down, a barret will rape you in the ass. What you must do is make your soldat's movement sporadic.

Trust me, it's not impossible to hit someone with a barrett while getting binked. Some people (i.e. me) know how to handle the bink. You kinda aim a bit away from them and if you're lucky it hits. You do this tons and eventually you know where to aim when you're getting binked. Of course, this comes with the price of being called a hacker a lot...

I hate barret... Man who uses barret in a tryout w/e clan you were trying to join was prolly not worth it.
