Couldnt download a map - again question!

Hi, i have 2.5.2 Soldat server on FreeBSD.

I get an error - Couldn't download a map. Allow_Download is 1, i have passed the port test.
What can be wrong?

All maps are default?

I took a look at the forum, but couldnt fina an answer

I have to download same maps to my PC from server?
How do i get same version of maps then?

Nevermind....its a version of Linux/Unix.

Where have you put the maps? Make sure they're in the Maps folder in the Soldat Directory

yes. I even made 777 chmod for that dir and everything inside.

well...I doubt its the reason, but due to my lack in knowledge on Linux/Unix, and Servers in general....
Are you sure that your OS isn't the reason?

As EnEsCe said...you can't download Default maps. If someone joins your server and your server has a different version of the map than they do, they will be kicked...The best you could do is find out which version is more popular, and change the map to the popular version

Like i said, i have 2.5.2 version of soldat server. It's the last one.
Did anyone used it? Maybe someone also has same problem?

They could all just happen to be DEFAULT files. Thats what EnEsCe said! YOU CAN NOT DOWNLOAD DEFAULT MAPS. I can bet that also includes default scenery as well.
Why did I have to repeat what one poster had said, twice?....please read before screaming "ZOMG SOLDATZ SERVEF WONT RUNZ....CAN'T DOWNLAOD DEFAULT MAPZ!!"....

Well i undestand what are you saying. But you didn't tell me how do i fix it.

Can this problem be solved or not? Should i install an old version of soldat server 2.5.1 ?

You extract the zip of 2.5.2 to a folder OTHER THAN YOUR SOLDAT FOLDER, run the server, open normal Soldat, join using 127.0.0.1, and bam. No worries at all unless you have a retarded computer.

Yes, but i have a dedicated server.
I have extracted 2.5.2 to dedeicated server folder already.
Started my soldat client, trying to connect to my server - and got an error about map version and etc.

cause MM put into some old files and then was updating it (couple times )
