Just a fast question about mov. acc. + bink.
« on: February 08, 2007, 09:35:43 pm »
Why are so many so inaccurate? :o Especialy while moving. Why is there such a thing as movement acc. anyway? Why dont we just have a accuracy variable in the weapons.ini? Movement acc. is so easy to get past that it is useless in clan games, especially for Ruger and Barrett.

Fix the bug or make Movement acc. to affect all the time. >:O

Or... Am I mistaken somewhere? :|

Movement accuracy is the variable that binks you when you're moving quickly. It doesn't seem to effect you all that much while falling, and little while jumping. It's meant to replicate some sort of difficulty using the gun sights while moving, I would assume.

Yeah, agreed. But there is a easy way to prevent it affecting to your aim, and everyone (using Barrett and Ruger) uses it in clans. So it is basically worthless there.

It is a bit like, locking up your door in the night, but lettign the keys to the lock, then hoping that no one will even try to get inside.

yea but it means you always have to think about the keys in the lock. if you don't think about the keys you have no way of getting in.

or more simply put:

Players still have to worry about negating it, meaning its another thing they need to continue using. if they accidently forgot to negate it, well, lets say it's going to be a hell of a lot harder to hit. It's really no big issue.

Well, in clan games, when you face an enemy, you just try to get backwards, but it aint possible in air. When you do not press any keys, you will lose alot of speed, so you wont get past the enemy, and when enemy goes backwards, the distance does not really increase. But your aim will be ALOT more easy to control when using weapons with high movement acc.
