Someone made a thread about it over at the VGDC forum a long time ago, and after I got banned from there unfairly, (They thought I was a multi-accounter. -.-) I remembered that thread. Well, I obviously couldn't go see the thread again, but I googled "soldat" and then I downloaded it. It was April of last year, so it was still the current version.

I've never gotten a chance to play with any of the previous versions. :(

My friend told me about it in shop class and wouldn't shut up about it so i got it and as soon as i got it he shut up. And didn't play the game anymore :(.

My best friend show it, he knew we liked shareware games and this was just perfect. But then I did play for a long time but when all those player who cheated everytime and everyone who kept screaming noob to me when they killed me was just getting tired of it. This was around 3-4 years back then.

That's actually most of the time how I go out and see which games I want...

i were surfing around at a swedish webpage (hamsterpaj.net) and then i saw a link called "Soldat". i liked the name so i clicked at it. there were information about Soldat 1.2.1 and some servers they had started. i downloaded it and tried it out, and woah! a great game at so small size.

I had been searching for the perfect game for me for months and after relentless searching on google, I found Soldat.
After reading all about it on the website, I instantly knew I wanted to play this. It had everything I wanted. So I downloaded it on my old computer and attempted to play it. However, I always got an error when trying to play it. I read all the FAQs and help sections but my problem couldn't be solved. I occasionally got the chance to play Soldat, maybe once or twice in the span of a couple of years, sometimes over my friend's house, sometimes with someone else's laptop.
Eventually, I got a new computer and I played Soldat non-stop.

I think it was PCgamers free disc, that had Soldat on it. I played offline for hours! And then, after some weeks, i discovered online playing! :o

About a year ago in ICT class one of my friends was playing on it but he wouldn't let me have a go on it.
I kept trying to download it but it wouldn't work on the crappy school computers, eventually i got it at home and played it for a few hours and thought it was great. That was before i even knew there was an online mode.

My friend told me about Soldat in early 2004. I checked out the website, but I didn't download it after looking at the screenshots. A week or two later, I saw it on the Dransik forums (an MMORPG that I used to play) and decided to give it a try. I've been playing it ever since. It's the most addictive and fun game that I've ever played. :)
