Fullscreen all the way!

I normally like to listen to the sound effects, so that I can hear what weapons they have and how close they are, but sometimes I might have a radio talk show on.

During the days of live Soldat Radio, playing a deathmatch in Shau while listening to Queen's 'Fat bottomed girls' was priceless

I play windowed when I'm in an IRC chatroom. Otherwise, I go fullscreen.

I only play fullscreen, I can fit IRC and other stuff like my system temperature monitors, itunes and task manager on my second monitor, so I can see them while playing.

I have Soldat windowed at all times, fullscreen is just too blurry and pixelated for my liking.
I answer the phone when i play soldat if it rings but sometimes am in such a hurry to carry on playing soldat i cut people off.
I drink lemonade mixed with orange juice, very tasty. I don't eat proper food when playing soldat, but might occasionally have a snack while i play.
I listen to Hip-Hop when i play soldat, usually Jurassic 5, Ugly Duckling, Run DMC, Seeed (great german band) and other artists. I find if i don't listen to music when playing i don't play as good as when i have music on

Haha, I just realized I love having my cats around - they climb all over my computer and it's funny to see what they make my Soldat guy do.

I eat muffins, donuts and wine gums and drink some cola, while playing soldat in fullscreen.
I also listen to music (death metal 'n stuff) - thats atmospheric

I usually eat crispers or ritz chips. I eat constantly on Kampf, because I just camp, and have a hand free for eating. Though there have been a few times where I missed my shot (GOD FORBID), and had to drop the bad of chips to be able to make the bastards eat knife. I then have to clean up.

I am usually the person who has to answer the phone, so I am pretty good at flicking the phone onto my shoulder and continue playing.

I never instant message, I hate it popping up, but I still play on Windowed mode cause I like it.

I drink a lot of pop while playing, a few swigs in between rounds does the trick.

i can't watch TV, because I die a lot when I get distracted.

I always seem to put my feet up on the armrests of the chair beside me, and have my keyboard on my lap.

I used to window it on my laptop because it loaded faster. But on the computer I'm using now, it's the same quick loading speed either way, so I use fullscreen.

Sometimes i get interrupted by IM's, which generally makes me terrible at soldat. I find myself focusing more on what I want to say, then whi I am trying to kill.

as xtishereb cleverly put it, food + keyboard = ewww. The keyboard im using already makes me sick because its like 10 years old and is scarred with stains and mess thats impossible to wash off, so I try to quarantine my computer from food as much as possible. I dont need to eat while playing soldat anyway. That just makes you fat and lazy. If I need to eat, I go to the kitchen, and then maybe go do something else.

I dont have space on my desk to place the keyboard, and I use the CPU as a foot stool.

I modified the soundfx myself so that the guns are easily distinguishable, but it doesn't really help me all that much. I also modified a ton of other soundfx like the body fall sounds (I love the THUMP sound when they hit the ground), the respawn sound, death sounds, and more. I really did it to make soldat more enjoyable to listen to.

Windows media player lags soldat. But sometimes I use my ipod to listen to while playing. But it blocks out my killer soundfx, so most of the time I dont. I listen to music while playing doom though.

I usually listen to music, with sound effects off. Usually I'd eat something along the line of chips and soda. Sometimes I might variate a little bit. Some days I might grab a bowl of cereal. Other days I may eat dinner and play Soldat. I also play full screened.

As for me, I will occasionally eat some chips during respawn, or drink my soda real quick, before jumping back in.

i use aim, msn, and occasionally go to forums

Full screen, sound through headphones (no music).  Often have a beer (unless it's morning).  Usually think of the next kill.  Ponder when the next version will be out,etc.  No tv, no mp3, just gore and guns.

I pick up things here or there while playing.
I would be drinking soda or water while playing.
I could be snacking on some cheetoes or cheez-its or rits.
The only time I don't play while active in soldat is when I have to go do something for me mum, so instead of leaving the game, I'll only join as spectator. It keeps me from getting kicked out. And that way I cam come back in to join. =P

I've never played full screen. I always end up playing with the 640 x 480 window. This has been for about as many years as I've been playing it too...not consistantly but yeah. I should try full screen once though.

Sometimes I listen to music while I play, other times I just listen to the sfx. I dont eat while I play dont want crap on my keyboard or mouse. I had a few expensive mouses wear out because of food and debri that got into it from food. Ill chew bubble gum maybe.. alot of the time im just swearing at the screen while my woman looks at me like im nuts. The action posted before is performed by a trained profesional do not try this at home. It helps me play better believe it or not lol, relieveing all that tension because im a laid back guy in real life that never gets loud unless warranted.

I would never allow myself to lose concentration to alcohol while playing soldat, because I know my k:d will suffer the consequences.
