Summer Concerts
« on: June 23, 2006, 03:08:20 pm »
Anyone seeing any good bands this summer?

I'm going to Radiohead in about seven hours, it should be awesome.

Also, Ween and the Flaming Lips, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and a hilarious comedian named Brian Regan.

Should be a good summer. What about you guys?

I'm not sure Sonic Youth will be at the concert I'm going to. I'm hopeful though.

Oh and Radiohead was a huge dissapointment. They just played song after song without saying ANYTHING. And they played 12 of the worst new songs ever. At least they played Idioteque and Everything In Its Right Place... But still a dissapointment *sigh*

Not really a fan of festivals ( don't like to watch bands with a smell of barbecue, flat beer and sweat ) ... so i'm waiting for the summer to pass so i can see a lot of bands ( as Sonic Youth by example ) in rather small locations again ...

Haha creep... terrible song, they refuse to play it at concerts.

THere was no How to Dissapear Completely, No Surprises, Karma Police, Kid A, The Bends, Bullet Proof, Black Star...

There was Bangers and Mashers though. And everybody just LOVES that song... bleh.

I just got invited to Roger Waters by a friend this morning. Doesn't come around here until October or something, though.
