Heh, that sucks. I always go to the flag's spawn point before the time runs out, just in case it gets returned 2 seconds before the end of the round. Obviously it's not always possible, but I don't sit in the base with the flag until the time runs out.

Yeah, it's that in laos if you sit and flagspawn when you're waiting for the return, you're in a very vulnerable position. There's a good chance you'll sniped/sprayed/killed/whatever. I find it much easier to defend myself at the back of the base.
Oh, and time wasn't about to run out, I think there was about 3 minutes left, it's just that that guy stole the flag like a milisecond before I could cap
