Help with texturing.
« on: February 01, 2007, 02:54:46 pm »

The large center platform I tryed resizing the textures to resonable looks, because they were really fat. But when played everything looks ugly as hell  and the textures fuzzy up when you move. How can I go about making polygons that dont stretch the texture or make it really big? I used the texture quad. Also, How do you make solid objects? Colliders only seem to collide with weapons.... (First Map evere so help appreciated)

If you want a polygon's texture to be unstretched (normal), select the polygon and hit [CTRL] + F (Fix texture; also accessible in the Edit dropdown menu). If you want to manually stretch a texture yourself, select the desired vertices and use the Texture Tool.

What do you mean by "solid objects?" Colliders stop projectiles and explosives. There are different kinds of polygonal types which you can find in the Properties window. If you're trying to achieve climbable scenery or whatnot, set the scenery to the Front layer and create polygons behind it.
