I remember this one time in Elite Saw and Law, on....some map.
Well, I'm just plain rushing, sawing people, and trying to get our flag back (we had done a flag trade between teams), and a LAWman is sitting, crouching, waiting for me up ahead.
When I see him, ready to fire, I'm thinking: "HOLY $h17!"
He stared at me for a second, perhaps waiting for me to move, maybe he already pulled the trigger, and was waiting for the startup time to finish.
Whatever happened, I jumped, and went prone without jets.
The missile fired, with me in full prone right in midair.
Let's just say that, if that were real, the screaming noise of that missile would have made my ears painfully pop due to the change in air pressure. That's how close it was. About 6 inches in real life.
And, if I hadn't been prone, my head would have been flying away, along with numerous body parts.
The missile harmlessly exploded on a nearby wall, and I jetted while still prone in midair. He whipped out his other weapon: A saw. Why do I always forget to grab the other weapon? Anyway, I'm supermanning at him, and he's backing up. I got out of superman in the air, and was still moving at him. Then he jumped to a small upper platform above, and tried to go around it and catch me from behind. No chance. I jumped up and sawed him, and moved on.
