A tribute to DNA.Styx.
« on: April 30, 2006, 12:31:17 pm »

DNA.Styx was the original admin and kind provider of the Soldat Forums we had before.
Moving on from our humble beginnings, we're continuing the legacy which all started with one Polish man and one Admin.

Let us never forget the selfless contributions that DNA.Styx gave to the Soldat community.
In essence, he is the beginning of what brought us all together today.

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

We will never forget you, Styx.

Although I havent really seen much of him in the past two years that I have been around here, I would still like to pay my tribute to Mr. Styx and the hard work which he had put into the Soldat community.

Kudos to Styx for putting up with the community as long as he did. I can tell he will be sorely missed.

Since I am too much of a newbie to know, what made the Dnagames.net server so special? I've heard a little about it over the past couple of years, but I've never understood why the atmosphere of it couldn't be recreated.

It was the mappack and the playerbase: things which are lacking nowadays. No more nice guys to play on on fun custom maps.

And aye, Styx was a mighty fine admin, even as he grew more and more inactive. Hope he found something more rewarding in life.
