DM Hang
« on: February 11, 2007, 11:14:20 am »
This is a simple and virtical map for 3-5 players which is waypointed. I just want to play that map, I have done. On making, I noticed it was similar to Chakra's map 2 years ago along with my memory, it's okay. Take a play this map.

Plain 'n simple. I playtested this and I like it.  No overuse of any scenery, good texture, the purple rock looks kind of strange :p. Layouts pretty good, I'll use it as a 1v1 map.

overall I like it. Simplicity beats Over-doing it any day :).

Nice!

I recommend using rainrider's Soldat Map Packer, since people have known it to be more stable than EnEsCe's Map Deployer.

BTW, where do you get these textures from? Do you just modify existing ones?

I'll never get tired of those 'randomly' placed colours. The design's pretty good, but your right : it does look familiar. Overall, it's a great map. Just resist the urge to use loads of sceneries :).

The preferred outcome of war is peace. Ironic, huh ?

I made a texture pack before and used them. They are originally from free texture stuff and I have modified them to seamless pictures. But they have been colored and not good for the use, so I make it grayscale. If you need it, here, though some of them are odd and useless.

Oh man, that's an awesome set of textures. And this is a really nice map. The color is great and interesting, and the layout looks quite promising. Maybe similar to rok. I was curious though, do you use map maker, or polyworks. (I'd assume the former, but I'm still curious.)

I love that shading combined with texture. Sorta reminds me of inf_moonshine.
Yeah, no overuse of scenery or unnecessary eye candy.
Love the layout.
10/10 Awesome map. :)

In the readme file contained in the zip file, it says thanks to "Anna for Polyworks". So I would assume he uses Polyworks.
