How can you make a match that have a visible team against an invisible team?

For infiltration or hold the flag can be fun.
Can this be done already in soldat with server settings and scripts?

Is it possible to create a bot(zombie invisible match(?)) that is invisible using same colors that backcround map if weapons are modded too?

All suggestions are welcome.

Sounds interesting...

The problem is, The invisable team would have a huge advantage, and everyone would run-snipe.

An idea: Limit the weapons the invisable team can choose from, or make the invisable team advance while normal team isn't.

Most gamemodes don't get implemented because they're thought to not become very popular. This could easily be achieved by creating a map which puts a bunch of Predator power-ups in front of one of the teams, and by having the hosting server set 5 for bonus frequency

I think that is what he was talking about.
I think he heant permenant invisability for one team.

A better name would be "Human VS. Predator mode."

Exact!
A very good name. Perhaps predators' team should have less players.

But predators would see themselves?

hm, when two invisible gosteks are in one team I don't think they see each other. But their crosshairs will be green when pointing at friend, no matter if he is visible or not.
This mode could be really fun, but only when the "human" team would have another advantage to balance "predators" invisibility. But how to do it?

Well "Humen vs. Predators" is good. I like the idea.

Teams should be  Humen  2:1   Predators
Predators shouldnt get one hit kill weapons, only autos.

the invisible team would have only 40% of life.  this team would play me the "advanced mod". 8)

Invisible team should have instincts powerup (forgot the name) but only about 30% health and knife and the otherguys should get the guns/chainsaws.

A nice way to handicap the predators but not completely shut them out would be Secondary Weapons only. They should have 40% Health, and should be able to use a USSOCOM and Knife, just because spray fire could easily kill any and all knifers.

Players could easily coordinate a strategy for this as well. Visible players simply have one player lead the group and fire a highly spraying weapon (Minimi, for example) and then swap out when they run out of ammo. This would make for great teamwork. Also, take into account that Predators are not truly "Invisible"; a close look and you can actually see their outline. But, then again, predator also had an outline in the movies.

This could make for a very great game mode. I recommend trying to implement it.

Sounds pretty neat to me. I'd play it anyday. Being in constant Predator-mode sounds like fun!

Or, instead of having the predators have only secondarys, you could put them on advance mode with an advance of 3-5.

In all, sounds like a good idea, but it'd have to be balanced or it'd be like infil, with everyone going to the side with the advantage.

How about that the predators have constantly decreasing health (genetic disfunction maybe?), and have to pick of the humans in order to refill their health bar... ;)

And to even out stuff even more, make em like X% visible when theyre moving around.. :D

Watchathink?  ;)

I've created a map like this and it doesn't work.
I 've put a LARGE  of predator powerups and set 5 for bonus frequency and ... No great amount of predators...

I would love have those type of mode !

of course there is a problem.

more than "will it be popular ?"

it's the time needed for beta testing it and fix it.
