im realeasing a great attempt of a jet tomarrow at specificly saturday february 17 2007 at 9:00 in the morning

yes yes ur all wondering iether (wtf) or (hes crazy) but at saturday february 17 2007 soldat history WILL BE MADE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not gunna release any info about how i made it or with wut i made it !!!!!

I'd like to see it. I tried to convert the soldiers into tanks and make a full-fledged vehicle-TC and forge history myself, but... I guess I was too ambitious

Animations are a PAIN, man, especially with the super-limited .POA Editor as the only resource we have.

I look forward to this...

I'm releasing an attempt at editing the jet flames tomorrow, February 17, 2007 at 9:00 AM. You all must be questioning me, but tomorrow, history will be made. I'm not going to ruin the surprise, so you can just savor in the suspense. Michal M. won't know what hit him.

actually im pretty sure he meant he was making a JET, seeing as that is a vehicle, and thats what he's bragging about.

jet= lame term for fightercraft.

and modifying jet flames would have very little effect if im thinking right, you would just get 40 pictures of you mod overlapping eachother....

yanno.... in a ninja mod that might look pretty cool.... a whitish afterimage of your gosteck.... using slightly trasparent pixels..... if i wasnt so lazy i would do that.

Probably he might have seen some video or found some old rottening mod that had a jet-alike mod that was a total failure.

2) you don't get warned or banned for reviving old topics unless you didn't have a reason. Since this is a thread about Gundam's mod and he was posting to tell us about the status of it, this is an example of proper reviving.

I've tried making a vehicle mod in games such as SS2: They were boring, crappy, and didn't make any sense. I have a theory on how someone could, but as with SS2 it would still be pretty lame.

What is this jet thing all about? I read everything, and I'm just assuming that either GUNDAM is just making the soldats into jets, or he is trying to make an actual jet type thing. I'm guessing the first one.

Totally. You can change it into anything you want, pretty much... but it takes soooooooo long to edit the animations accordingly that no one has bothered to do it.

Actually you could probably just make every single body part inivsible except klata so that you look like a jet without any moving parts. Plus the way I thought of is just making a weapon that looks like a jet. Why bother changing the gosteks when you can make a 2piccy weapon? I know you can do it in liero but is it possible to give the weapon negative thrust, kinda like how when you shoot down you kinda fly a bit. Or is that all hard coded?

no, you can make negative thrust, people do it with minigun alot to make racing maps.

Oh and I just though you can't make a jet unless it was really tiny because whenever you turn the other direction you would flip around and the piccy would be in the wrong place. Yeah, wouldn't work.

That's absolutely the closest way of getting vehicles in soldat.. And it would still be pretty stupid.

i am very sorry but my comp dies ..again......so il be releasing this in ....late 2008....as it took me from 2000- 2006 to finally finish....i have my files and crap i need so i might be able to pull this off in a year and a half...maybe......thanks.....the vechs i will hopefully be making is jet...wrath(from halo) warthog from halo again and a tank ...thank you all
