some programs...
« on: February 23, 2007, 03:17:06 pm »
ive looked through the sticky of some of the programs listed, some dont work... i got a few questions tho..

is there a "current" soldat bot maker? the one i see is from '04 or '05 :P

also, for those people tho make videos, what program would u recommend to record and actually make them?

lastly, is there a way to make a bot stand still?? so that way u can have target practice or something  :P

I have mad skills, don't you?

Silver, I can only answer the last question you have.  It is not possible to make them stand still because of how they are programmed.  The only way to do this is to make special maps like the ones I suggested earlier (see http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=9697.0)

Or just start a teammatch with yourself and 1 bot on the same team with friendly fire enabled.

It is possible to make a bot stand still.
steps:
1. Create a bot
2. Open the text file (if you ddn't make it like that)
3. change the secondary weapon number to text (any non-number, it doesn't matter.)
4. launch the bot you made.

each .bot file is a text file with the bot's information inside.

to edit, open with notepad or any other plain text editor.

1. whats wrong with the "old" bot makers? they still work

2. Demo your matches. Then record the demos with Fraps
Then you edit the recorded stuff with Windows Movie Maker (not that good), Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas 6
